Friday Good Vibes - Week 11 T1 2019

Well done to the following students who received our Friday Good Vibes postcard for the last week of Term 1.

Zoe - For being a kind and caring classmate and showing perseverance by giving everything a go with a broken arm.

Cam - For being engaged with his work and completing it on time and to a high standard.

Makiya - For being independent with her learning and using her Chrome extensions to assist with her learning.

Acrostic Poems T1 2019

This week we have been writing acrostic poems about our Adventure Days. We have been focussing on being descriptive and using language features.

Super 10's Champs T1 2019

Last Friday Liam and Dan represented our school at the Super 10's tournament. Super 10's is a sports tournament run by Youthtown at the end of every term. Casebrook sent three teams and played other schools in Ki o Rahi and Football.

Well done to Liam and Dan who were in the Casebrook team who won the tournament - first time Casebrook has won since 2016.

Final Youthtown Session for T1 2019

Today Room 9 and 10 had their final session of Youthtown for this term. Students were split into teams and had to put the skills they have practiced over the term into game play.

Thanks to the team from Youthtown for running all the fun and engaging sessions. We already look forward to next term.

Boraq and Lily's Casebrook Challenge T1 2019

Thanks to Boraq and Lily for sharing their baking they made as a Casebrook Challenge. We enjoyed cookies made by Boraq and brownies made by Lily.

Tug of War 2019

This afternoon we our annual House Tug of War competition. It was an awesome afternoon with all students showing heaps of REP.

Well done to Cavendish for taking out the competition.

Year 7 Assembly Awards - Week 11 T1 2019

REP Focus - Week 10 & 11 T1 2019

Our school-wide fortnightly REP focus is showing respect to others. We used post it notes to write down one way we are going to show respect to others this week.

Sense Poems T1 2019

This week we have been writing sense poems about our Adventure Days. We have been focussing on being descriptive by using descriptive language and language features such as similes and personification.
