Final Turbo Touch Session T2 2019

Today Room 9 had their final session of Turbo Touch today with Logan from from Touch Canterbury. Students were split into teams and had a mini tournament against each other. It was great to see the great improvement students have made since their first session.

Tech Update T2 2019

This academic term we have majority of Room 9 students in Hard Materials and a handful in Digi. Some great learning going on in these classes.

Friday Good Vibes - Week 7 and 8 T2 2019

Dance Party 2019

Last night we had our annual Casebrook Dance Party. It was a great night had by all.

Mahi Time - Sports T2 2019

Over the past few weeks we have been reading and completing activities around Sports. We have been reading and learning about fitness crazes, extreme sports, womens rugby in NZ and heaps more.

Large Ball Skills - Week 8 T2 2019

Last week we started our PE unit based around Large Ball Skills. We have been focussing on basketball and have been learning how to dribble and shoot correctly.

Makiya, Luke and Dylan's Casebrook Challenge T2 2019

Room 9 has been completing some awesome Casebrook Challenges this term. Makiya has learnt how to use chopsticks, Luke has been looking after his pets and baking for the staff and Dyls made a quarter pipe and grind box.

Assembly Badges/Awards - Week 7 T2 2019

Well done to Olie and Lily who received a REP badge at assembly today. They are the first students from Room 9 to receive a badge. They received their excellence badge for earning 40 excellence REP cards.

Room 9 also received a Cross Country award for being the top Year 7 Girls class. Well done girls.

First Session of Spec T2 2019

A couple of weeks ago students had their first session of Spec for the second academic term. Majority of students from Room 9 are in Art and a handful are in Te Reo/Health.

Write That Essay Lesson

Today we were lucky to have Andrew from Write That Essay come in and take a lesson with us. Write That Essay is an online writing programme that all Year 7 classes are using this year. It was awesome to have Andrew take such an engaging lesson and show how great the programme is.

Cross Country 2019

It was a perfect winters day for our school Cross Country. Well done to all the students from Room 9 who participated today, all the training we have been doing this term paid off.

Well done to Lily who came 3rd and Brodie who came 7th in the Year 7 Girls race.
