On Our Way Performance 2019

On the last Thursday night of last term we had our annual On Our Way Performance. This performance showcased all the great cultural, music and dance groups we have at Casebrook.

Friday Good Vibes - Week 1 T3 2019

Well done to Cam who received our Friday Good Vibes postcard for our first week back for the term. He received it for putting in an awesome effort in our first class dance practice for production.

Moment in Time Writing T3 2019

This week we watched a Nike football commercial to prompt us for our Moment in Time writing. Once we watched the video we then had to write about the 'moment the winning goal was scored' or the 'moment the winning goal was missed'.

We focussed on describing all the elements in that moment of time and using the five senses to build an image in the mind of the reader.

Large Ball Skills - Week 1 T3 2019

This week for PE we have been learning how to dribble the ball correctly towards the hoop and then complete a lay up.

Ashton's Casebrook Challenge T3 2019

Today we had Ashton's dog come in and meet the class as part of his Casebrook Challenge.

First Dance Practice for Production 2019

Today we had our first practice for our class dance in our school production at the end of this term. It was awesome to see everyone participating and giving it a go. Heaps of REP and enthusiasm shown throughout the lesson.

Mahi Time - Food T2 2019

Over the past few weeks we have been reading and completing activities around food. We have been reading and learning about kūtai fritters, weird foods around the world, balanced diets and much more.

Explain That! T2 2019

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about explanation writing. We have been focussing on structuring our writing correctly and using technical language.

We have been explaining things such as how earthquakes occur, how volcanos erupt, what extreme sport is, what a balanced diet is and more.
