Luke shoots for Papanui High and they have just competed in the Macmillan Cup, a National Secondary School Shooting Competition, he placed 4th in the individual and his team won Gold in the Intermediate Grade (under 15yrs). He also shot a personal best during the competition.
Well done Luke, what an awesome achievement!
On Wednesday we had a group of students from Room 2 attend the Tough Kids race at South New Brighton Domain. The race included heaps of different obstacles that students had to make their way through. A fun day out for the students involved!

The students have been making parachutes in Science and have been testing to see who's parachute can stay up in the air for the longest.
Over the last couple of days, the girls have been attending and Empowering Girls Course at the PYD. Some of the themes of the course were self-confidence, positive self-talk, navigating social media etc.
While the girls were at their course, the boys stayed at school for a Blokes Day. Their two days included creating and making their own burgers and heaps of sports.
Great and engaging couple of days had by all!
