Google Meet - Week 6

Today our theme for our Google Meet was to wear a funky hat/hair accessory. Everyone looked great in their hats!

Learning at Home - Week 5 Update

Room 6 has finished there first week of learning at home. It was awesome for everyone to catch up with their classmates throughout the week on Google Meet and the students have adjusted really well to this new style of learning. Students have been completing some great work and have been really creative with their learning, well done!

Assembly - Week 4 T3 2021

We were lucky enough to have NZ Olympian Emma Dyke speak to the school about her experience at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Emma was part of the women's rowing eight who got a silver medal, the first NZ women's rowing eight to ever medal at the Olympics!

REP Star of the Week & Friday Good Vibes - Week 3 T3 2021

Well done to Jemuel who was drawn out as our REP Star of the Week and to Gia who received our Friday Good Vibes postcard. Gia received her postcard for being an enthusiastic class member and giving her all to everything she does.

Redwood Library Visit

Room 6 enjoyed their time visiting the Redwood Library. We were introduced to the many different things the library offers and spent time looking at books, listening to audiobooks and coding.

REP Star of the Week & Friday Good Vibes - Week 2 T3 2021

Well done to Lucy J who was drawn out as our REP Star of the Week.

Well done to Charlie who received our Friday Good Vibes postcard for this week. He received it for all the awesome work he has been doing in his novel study and persuasive writing.

Ski Trip #1 2021

Yesterday, we had our first Casebrook Ski Trip. It was great to have over half of the Room 6 students on the trip. Everyone had an awesome day on the slopes and showed heaps of perseverance.

Finally, at this assembly, Alex's REP card was lucky enough to be drawn out to play REP Spin to Win. He won a $20 Hoyts voucher.
