Room 13 had a VR (virtual reality) lesson run by BLAKE. Students were able to experience the rich biodiversity that exists below the surface of our ocean, as well as the damage that has been done to our ecosystems through the VR headsets.

Mr Leith's Farewell Assembly
On the last day of term we farewelled our Deputy Principal, Mr Leith. We held a very special assembly celebrating Mr Leith's 12 years at Casebrook and even had a special episode of TKM News just for him!

Casebrook Go Kart Derby 2023
On Tuesday, the annual Casebrook Go Kart Derby was held. This term, some students have been making a go kart as part of their Casebrook Challenge. The derby was their chance to bring their karts in and race them against the other students. A lot of hard mahi has gone into the go karts - they looked awesome!

Term 1 Casebrook Challenge Assembly 2023
Today, we had our Casebrook Challenge Assembly for Term 1. At this assembly gold Casebrook Challenge badges were handed out.
Fa’amalo, malo le taumafia, congratulations and well done to the 27 students from Room 13, who received their gold Casebrook Challenge badge.
This terms Casebrook Challenge Champ award for Room 13 went to Isaac. He built an awesome go kart as his super challenge this term and we even got to see it tear up the Casebrook racing track today.
Well done to Lave who completed a Maths badge (Food Technology) as part of her challenges.
Well done to Ariana who completed a Science badge (Sports Science) as part of her challenges.

Top Team 2023
Last week, the Year 7's participated in Top Team. It was a great day run by Canterbury Sport that involved a range of team-based activities.
