Te Ahi Ora

This week, Te Ahi Ora has been running fire lessons and performances at Casebrook. Room 13 throughly enjoyed learning different skills and tricks with the fire sticks.

Speech Finals

Well done to Amelie and Patrick who participated in the school speech at the end of last week. Amelie presented a speech on 'Aroha' and Patrick presented a speech on 'Books'.

Patrick came in 3rd place for Year 7. Well done both you we are all very proud!

Thank You Miss Doherty

On Friday, we farewelled our student teacher, Miss Doherty. Miss Doherty has been teaching in Room 13 for the past 5 weeks. Everyone in Room 13 has enjoyed having you in our class and we wish you all the best in the future.

First Aid Course

This week we took part in a First Aid course run by St John. The course was focused on assessing a patient using DRSABC's and how to give correct CPR.

Culture and Kai 2023

Last night, we had our annual Culture and Kai. The evening had performances from our Kapa haka and Pasifika group and following the performances we enjoyed some kai that was prepared by the students.
