Last Google Meet

Today, the students of Room 6 had their last Google Meet. We completed a quiz on a range of topics, including music, flags, food, NZ history and logos. 

It was great to have one final catch up and reflect on the last 2 and a half weeks of learning at home. We are all looking forward to seeing each other in person!

Learning at Home - Week 6 FriYAY Kahoot!

On Friday we had a Kahoot with Room 5 to celebrate the end of an awesome week of learning at home. The Kahoot consisted of 4 rounds of 10 questions on sports, flags, music and movies.

So nice for everyone in Room 5 & 6 to stay connected, hopefully not too long till were are back at school!

Google Meet - Week 6

Today our theme for our Google Meet was to wear a funky hat/hair accessory. Everyone looked great in their hats!

Learning at Home - Week 5 Update

Room 6 has finished there first week of learning at home. It was awesome for everyone to catch up with their classmates throughout the week on Google Meet and the students have adjusted really well to this new style of learning. Students have been completing some great work and have been really creative with their learning, well done!

Assembly - Week 4 T3 2021

We were lucky enough to have NZ Olympian Emma Dyke speak to the school about her experience at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Emma was part of the women's rowing eight who got a silver medal, the first NZ women's rowing eight to ever medal at the Olympics!

Well done to the following students who received the Room 6 REP certificates at assembly.

Charlotte (from Miss Clark) - for all her hard work in her writing group.

Finn - for having a positive attitude towards all his learning.

Congratulations to the following students who received a REP badge.
