Here are just a few of the awesome final art pieces that students who are in Art for Spec have created this academic term.

ANZAC Baking

Thank you to Arlia and Patrick for bringing in some ANZAC biscuits to share with the class as part of their ANZAC research for their Casebrook Challenge.

Name Art

Check out the awesome name art that we have did last term as part of our Whakawhanaungatanga Inquiry. We were focussing on being creative with the way we use lines to represent our name, as well as using contrasting colours to make our art stand out.

Assembly - Week 2 T2 2023

Well done to Hendrix who received the REP certificate for Room 13. He received it for always having a positive attitude and being kind and caring towards his classmates.

Well done to Room 13 who were awarded the cleanest compost bin for week 1 of this term.

BLAKE NZ-VR Lesson

Room 13 had a VR (virtual reality) lesson run by BLAKE. Students were able to experience the rich biodiversity that exists below the surface of our ocean, as well as the damage that has been done to our ecosystems through the VR headsets.

Mr Leith's Farewell Assembly

On the last day of term we farewelled our Deputy Principal, Mr Leith. We held a very special assembly celebrating Mr Leith's 12 years at Casebrook and even had a special episode of TKM News just for him!

Casebrook Go Kart Derby 2023

On Tuesday, the annual Casebrook Go Kart Derby was held. This term, some students have been making a go kart as part of their Casebrook Challenge. The derby was their chance to bring their karts in and race them against the other students. A lot of hard mahi has gone into the go karts - they looked awesome!
