Last Day 2017

Today we had our last day of the year. We celebrated an awesome year by having a shared lunch with Room 10 and having a Room 9 Legend Awards Ceremony.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas and summer break. Cya in 2018!

REP Badges - Term 4 2017 Update

Well done to the following students who have received REP badges in the second half of this term.

Hanmer Spring 2017

Today the whole school had it's Big Day Out to Hanmer Springs. This was a great way to celebrate the awesome year all students have had at Casebrook. It was a very enjoyable day full of hydro sliding, popping manus and hanging out with mates. Well done to all students for showing heaps of REP during our day out.

Year 7 Celebration Assembly 2017

Today we had our Year 7 Celebration Assembly. This was a great opportunity to celebrate all the great things the students in Year 7 have achieved this year.

At this assembly we also had 29 students receive their Casebrook Challenge gold badge for Term 4. It was awesome to see so many students from Room 9 on stage receiving their gold badge.

Casebrook Challenge Club - T4 2017

This term myself, Zion and Asher have been getting help by Mr Foster after school and at lunch times to get us a gold badge for Casebrook Challenge.

We have worked really hard this term and are excited to get our badges. Thanks to Mr Foster for helping us with our Casebrook Challenge, I don't think we would have got a gold badge without his help.

Room 9 2017

Check out the awesome year we have had in Room 9. It has been such a good year filled with a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. Well done to the Room 9 students for a having a great first year at Casebrook Intermediate.

Final Youthtown Session for 2017

Today Room 9 and 10 had their last sports session with Youthtown. Students were split into teams and put all the skills they had learnt this term into game play. Big thanks to the Youthtown team for a great year of sports, we are already looking forward to 2018.

Room 7, 9 and 10 go to the Movies

As part of our novel study on the novel Wonder Room 7, 9 and 10 took a trip to the movies to see the film Wonder. This was a great opportunity to see the novel portrayed into a film and to go on one last trip for the year.

Top Team 2017

Today Casebrook participated in the Top Team Challenge. Top Team is run by Sports Canterbury and is a series of team-based activities that promotes co-operation, initiative, problem solving and communication skills.

It was great to see students outside being active, having fun and making the most of the great weather.

On Our Way Performance 2017

Next week Casebrook will be holding its annual On Our Way Performance. This event will showcase of all the cultural, music and dance groups we have at Casebrook.

The performance is on next Thursday at 7pm in the school hall. Come along and check out all the talent we have here at Casebrook.

World Issues Inquiry Projects

Today we presented our final projects for our World Issues Inquiry. We had a range of different topics from Endangered Animals, Homelessness and Terrorism. It was a great opportunity for students to share all the hard work they have been putting into these projects.
