Speech Finals 2017
Well done to Dylan and Kaitlyn who represented our class at the Year 7 Speech Finals. Dylan presented a speech on Endangered Animals and Kaitlyn presented a speech on Why you should own a pet.
Kaitlyn made it through to the School Finals and will now represent Casebrook at the Rotary Speech Comp.

ReplyDeleteWow that is awesome that two members of your class made it into the speech competitions. The topics of the speeches would of been very interesting to listen to. What is the rotary speech competition and did every person in your class have to do a speech?

DeleteYes everyone in our class had to write and present a speech. It could be on any topic as long as it was persuasive. Students were able to select what category they would enter, either 1-2mins, 2-3 mins or 3-4 mins. Students have posted them onto their learning blogs if you want to read some of them, we would love some feedback.
The Rotary Speech comp is where schools from all over Christchurch enter their best speeches. They are competing tomorrow.
