Student Leaders 2019

Introducing Room 9's Student Leaders for 2019 - Dan McPherson (Deputy Student Leader) and Ash Peters (Student Leader).

These two will REPresent Room 9 on the student council and we know they'll do an awesome job.

First Softball Session T1 2019

Today Room 9 and Room 10 had their first softball session run by Canterbury Softball. Today we learnt how to pass and catch a softball correctly. We will be having softball lessons for the next five weeks.

Friday Good Vibes - Week 5 T1 2019

Well done to Nitesh who received our Friday Good Vibes postcard for this week. He received it for always being a kind and caring classmate.

First Youthtown Session T1 2019

Today we had our first session of Youthtown with Room 10. This term we are focussing on the game Ki o Rahi which relates to our school-wide PE concept of Invasion Games.

It was great to see all students getting involved and showing REP.

Name Art 2019

Today we started our name art with the focus on being creative with the way we use lines to represent our name, as well as blending and using contrasting colours to make our art stand out.

These are starting to come along well. Keep posted to see the final products.

Leaning Tower of Pasta

As part of our school-wide Inquiry around the concept of Relationships we started our weekly Team Building Challenges. This weeks challenge was to see which team could make the highest tower with 50 bits of spaghetti and 20 marshmallows.

It was great to see students communicating effectivity and working together as a team.
