REP Badges - Week 2 T4 2019

Well done to the following students who received a REP badge at assembly on Tuesday.

Ash, Jade, Zoe and Aysia received their respect badge for earning 40 respect REP cards.

Brodie, Holly, Eva and Addison received their excellence badge for earning 40 excellence REP cards.

Change in Temperature

Today for Inquiry we completed an investigation about 'what happens during a reaction between baking soda and vinegar, asides bubbling?'. We mixed vinegar and baking soda and tracked the change in temperature for two minutes.

We found out that when these two ingredients are mixed an endothermic reaction occurs and the temperature decreases.

Athletics - Week 1 T4 2019

This week we have been practicing our High Jump in preparation for our school athletics day in Week 3.

Mysterious M&M's

Today we started to look into our school-wide Inquiry concept, Change. Today we did in an investigation about 'what happens when one M&M is placed in water?'. After we completed the expriement we recorded what we observed, described what 'change' occurred and enjoyed eating some M&M's.

Spec Update T4 2019

Students are currently in their last rotation for Spec. The majority of students from Room 9 are in Science and a handful are in Art for the third and final academic term.
