Survivor 2020

As part of our training for our upcoming School Cross Country, Room 2 are taking part in a Survivor challenge. Students have been paired up in teams and will battle each other to become Survivor champions.

Every day students earn points by running laps, supporting each other and showing sportsmanship to other teams. Every week we will have a weekly challenge, this will be another opportunity for teams to earn points. 

Last week we had our first weekly challenge - The Brain Challenge. Teams had to complete a range of brain teasers within a set time.

It has been great to see students supporting not only their teammate but also the other competitors in the class!

Friday Good Vibes & REP Star of the Week - Week 6 T2 2020

Well done to Jade who was given our Friday Good Vibes postcard this week. She received it for always persevering with her school work.

Also a big well done to Mary and Lily who were drawn as our REP Stars of the Week.

Year 8 Assembly Awards - Week 6 T2 2020

Well done to the following students who received an award at our Year 8 Assembly for going 'above and beyond'.

Colbie - for giving up her lunchtimes to run a Sports Shack.

Zoe - for giving up her lunchtimes to run the Sports Shack.

Luke - for completing some awesome Casebrook Challenges.

Taskmaster - Paperclip Tower

Today students worked collaboratively in teams to complete a Taskmaster task. Their task was to build the highest tower using only one piece of A4 paper and 25 paper clips.

It was great to see students working together as a team!

First Day Back

After 7 and a half weeks of being away from school, we are back! It was so nice to see the students and for everyone to catch up with their mates. We spent the day catching up, getting back into 'at school' life and even got out for some dodgeball.

Online Learning - Final Update

Check out some of the great learning that has been happening in Room 2. Students have been awesome over the last 5 weeks online. They have all been great examples of a Casebrook REP!

We can't wait to get back into the classroom on Monday to see our mates and get back into some 'at school' learning.
