Assembly - Week 5 T4 2022


Well done to Anthony who received a Principal's Award. He received his award for showing great leadership during the primary schools Ki o Rahi coaching sessions and tournament. Well done on being a great positive role model Anthony!

Well done to Gia who received the REP certificate for Room 6. She received it for all her amazing help with the Cultural Festival set up. Awesome job Gia, I know everyone appreciates how you always go above and beyond to help others.

Bagpiping Success

In the weekend Gia competed in the Hororata Highland Games. She came 3rd overall in the solo bagpiping competition. Such an awesome achievement, go girl!

Assembly - Week 3 T4 2022

Well done to Josh, Kennedy and Aidan who received their Super REP badge. They received their Super REP badge for earning 180 REP cards (60 respect, 60 excellence and 60 perseverance).

They were presented with their Super REP badge by Mr Stribling and will have their photo on the Super REP wall in the office foyer. 



Well done to Henrietta and Kennedy who received the REP certificate for Room 6.

Henrietta - for showing great dedication and work ethic towards her learning.

Kennedy - for showing an improved work ethic and putting in great effort to improve bookwork


Well done to Room 6 who were awarded for winning the weekly compost bin award the most times last term.

Invasion Games - Ki o Rahi

This term our focus for PE is around Invasion Games. This week we have been learning how to play the game Ki o Rahi.

Ki o Rahi is a traditional Māori game that stems from the legend of Rahitutakahina and Tiarakurapakewai. The game involves many invasion skills and tactics that can be used in sports such as, netball, basketball, rugby and dodgeball.
