25th June Newsletter Article: Belfast Cobras Results

Te Kura Mareko Casebrook REPs shine at Belfast Rugby Club Day. 

On Saturday, 20th June, a number of our students took to the rugby field for the Belfast Cobras. It was a fantastic club day on Saturday, with our students showing that whether they are here at school or playing for Belfast, they are true Casebrook REPs.

Both teams put on excellent performances, coming away with two very impressive wins:

• Belfast Y7 Cobras (Won 79–7): The Year 7 boys showed great teamwork and excellence in their skills. Their perseverance on defence was a real highlight, holding the opposition to just a single try.
• Belfast Y8 Cobras (Won 38–0): The Year 8 boys played a dominant, fast-paced game to secure a good win. Most importantly, they showed great respect to the referee and their opposition from start to finish.

Mr Foster, Miss Wilkinson, Mrs Lee, and Miss Lancaster all went along on the day and thoroughly enjoyed watching both games and supporting the players from the sidelines.

Congratulations to all the players involved. It is wonderful to see our students living our REP expectations out in the wider community!

Friday Good Vibes - Week 1, Term 2, 2026

Well done to Lucian and Carter for receiving a Friday Good Vibes postcard this week.

Year 7 Casebrook Challenge Assembly - Term 1, 2026

Today’s Year 7 Casebrook Challenge Assembly for Term 1 was a great celebration of commitment and dedication.

A massive well done to Remi Moule and Pharrell Smith for their standout efforts this term. Remi earned the Year 7 Super Challenge Award for the best birdhouse design, while Pharrell took home the Above and Beyond Award for Room 16 with his own awesome birdhouse and high-standard bookwork.

Congratulations also to the 18 students from Room 16 who earned their gold Casebrook Challenge badges. These students showed initiative and followed through on their goals to get the job done. Great work, everyone!

The Bird House Super Challenge
